5.) my voice isn't gone!

take a chance, take your shoes off, dance in the rain

So saying that I suck at posting would be the understatement of the year (which, by the way, is 2009!) and I wouldn't be suprised if no one read this. But I'm going to write it anyway, because I feel it needs to be said and I have nowhere else to say it.

I have never been this thankful and greatful in my life. Ever. I have the best friends in the world. I had a sweet 16 party last night, which I was dreading. I really odn't like being the center of attention. But it turned out phenomenally. My parents spent SO much time and money to make it a great party, and it really really was. I couldn't have been happier with it. I love them so much and I don't think I can ever ask them for anything ever again.

It seemed as though friends and family had a really terrific time which I'm so glad about. Everything was perfect; the cake, the music, the atmosphere, the people... I can't get over it. Not to mention how GENEROUS people were with presents! It's definately not the most important thing but I am shocked at some of the things I recieved. I really love everyone who attended, so much. And how could I forget my amazing best friend Meghan who planned it with me? We had so much fun planning it and it only brought us closer together.

My Christmas & New Years were phenomenal. As usual, on Christmas, we woke up at 5:30, but couldnt wake our parents up until 6 (that's their rule.) Then we opened our presents and were pleasantly suprised! It was a great day.

And, to ring in the new year, I, of course, played monopoly all night long. Also the Kleins came over for a brief Harry Potter trivia game. But that was fun too.

I've been terribly ill for the majority of the break, but I'd rather be sick at home than healthy in school.

So I'll see you all Monday (in my fabulous new wardrobe)! <3

wishing you were in the rain reading hemmingway

Well it's only 10:13 and I've been up for about a half an hour, so there's nothing really to say. My pregnant aunt Leanne, Uncle Mike and my three darling cousins came over yesterday for thanksgiving, along with my Grandma. So it was a full house for this little place. But it was fun. Turkey was delicious, but my favorite, as always, were the mashed potatoes. <3

So today is black friday and I'd like to go shopping, but I know my mom won't let me. So I'll probably just go tomorrow. My sister is here until Sunday so that's good.

I'm disgusting. I'm going to go shower.

This was a pointless post.

the piano knows something I don't...

I am really happy to be in love with bands I'm in love with. There are three.

3.) The Beatles
2.) Panic at the Disco
1.) My Chemical Romance (they will always and forever be number one.)

If I took all of the amazing lyrics and quotes from these thirteen men and wrote them all down I'd have a 700 page novel, give or take a few pages. They are all seriously phenomenal song writers and musicians.

Here's a li'l excerpt from one of my favorite PatD songs, because I know you care a lot.

When the sun met the moon
She was drinking tea out in the garden
Under the green umbrella trees
In the middle of summer.

When the moon met the sun
He looked like he was barely hanging on
Until her eyes saved his life
In the middle of summer.

G-G-G-G-GENIUSSS

i can't prove this makes any sense, but i sure hope that it does

Today is thanksgiving! Turkey and family galore. And I have so much to be thankful for.

It feels kind of silly to number them, since my thanks goes to an unnumberable amount of things. But I will anyway.

1.) I'm thankful, of course, for my familiy. They are by far the best family in the world and they support me in absolutely everything I do. They lead me in the right directions and they are happy for me when I am happy. I love them.
2.) I'm thankful for my friends. The friends that live in the same town as I do, and the friends that live in Colorado, Albany, Oklahoma, California, Florida, West Virginia, Maryland... I love you all. (And miss you, depending on your current residing location. :))
3.) I'm thankful that I have so much more than other people. I have a roof over my head, I have food, I have a family and friends, I have my health... and many people don't.
4.) I'm thankful for board games. That's self-explanitory.
5.) I'm thankful that I have a religion that I truly and genuinely believe in.
6.) I'm thankful for my god-given talent of music, and that music comes easily to me, and that I really truly do enjoy it.

That's possibly the worst list I've ever written. But you get the idea. Bottom line; I'm thankful for everything. The trials, the errors, the triumphs & tradgedies... they all help me in one way or another.

Happy thanksgiving!

Oh and Jessica, I'll jump on the band-wagon...

1.) My sister is home.
2.) Ben Bloodstein will be text messaging me all day.
3.) There will be food!
4.) There's a House marathon on.
5.) Am I at school? No.
